Eurhythmics

Music and movement are two of the creative tools that people are born with, but that tragically many lose contact with early on in life. We need to find the way back to our origins and let ourselves come “home”.
Dalcroze Eurhythmic method offers the learning of and the experience of music through movement. The rhythm method is a complete method that works with each individual on a physical, emotional, and intellectual level.
Fantasy, musicality, body awareness, co-ordination, co-operation, attentiveness, concentration, improvisation, and relaxation are some examples of what can be strengthened through the use of the eurhythmic method.
Different musical themes could be: pulse, tempo, pause, nuances, different kinds of rhythm, the value of musical notes, and period and form.
The eurhythmic method is present in everything I do but I have worked specifically with teaching the eurhythmic method in primary schools; Sjöviks Community College department of music, Lindeparkens High School, Fryshusets Music School, and with Värmdö High School’s song students.
I can offer you 1,5 hour lessons or a complete or a half day.
